WHO IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER?

Peter Hartlove has been a free-lance nature photographer for 20 years.

WHERE ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHS MADE?

Hartlove started photographing Rocky Mountain wildflowers and has diversified to landscapes (including the Colorado Plateau, Alsek River in the Yukon), wildflowers, wildlife (including Bald Eagles, Alaskan Brown Bears, birds of North America, Galapogos) as well as underwater phtography (encompassing the creatures and scenes of the Pacific, Caribbean and Humpback Whales). He treasures the Natural Earth and attempts to capture the beauty and awe.

HOW ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHS MADE?

Although slowly investigating digital capture, he is still capturing his images on slide transparencies, enjoying the challenge of having to "nail" exposure and composition with the in-field shot.
